Role: Lead Front-End Designer & WordPress Developer
Technologies: WordPress (custom theme), HTML/CSS, PHP, Responsive Design, Accessibility (WCAG)

I was responsible for building the Wyoming JLC website from the ground up, starting with a static design concept provided by the client. My role involved translating the approved design into a fully functional, accessible, and maintainable WordPress site tailored to the needs of legislators, staff, and Wyoming citizens.

I developed a custom WordPress theme to support structured content such as meeting agendas, committee details, membership information, statutory references, and archived documents. The site required designing clear content hierarchies so legislative information could be browsed intuitively and updated easily by internal staff.

On the front-end, I implemented a clean, modern interface that aligns with governmental design expectations—emphasizing clarity, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. I built reusable templates and content blocks to streamline updates across sessions and ensure consistency throughout the site.

The final product delivers a well-organized, user-friendly platform that simplifies public access to legislative committee information and enhances transparency across Wyoming’s legislative processes. It provides a reliable, maintainable foundation for lawmakers and citizens to stay informed.
